Charles Dickens – A Christmas Carol (15th – 24th December)
Blue Orange Arts presents –
Charles Dickens – A Christmas Carol
Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly and wealthy man, is well-known for his miserly ways and unkind spirit.
One Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, who is eager for Scrooge not to share his miserable and eternal fate in the afterlife.
Marley tells Scrooge that he will be visited by three spirits; the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come. These ghosts show Scrooge how his mean, selfish behavior has affected those surrounding him and that there is still time for him to change his wicked ways.
Dickens’ supernatural tale of redemption and the Christmas spirit is one of the most iconic seasonal tales of all time; delighting readers and audiences, of all ages, generation after generation.

Pay What You Can
Blue Orange Arts is committed to accessibility of our in-house productions and as such we offer a ‘pay what you can’ performance for all of our shows.
‘Pay what you can’ is designed to help people access the theatre who could not necessarily do so otherwise, it is not ‘pay what you want’ and we ask, if you are able to afford it, that you help the charity continue its work by paying full price (or more if you are really generous!)
