Dracula (11th October – 20th October)

Jonathan Harker, a young solicitor, travels to Transylvania to meet the wealthy and mysterious Count Dracula, whom is looking to purchase property in London. As time passes, Jonathan soon realizes that he is not in fact a guest of the Count but a prisoner and his life is in mortal and imminent danger.

Jonathan’s fiancé, Mina Murray, concerned for her close friend, Lucy Westernra, pays her a visit in the picturesque coastal town of Whitby. After a cargo ship is wrecked on the local shore, it’s crew all dead, its captain found lashed to the ships wheel, a malevolent shadow descends upon the town. A sinister and nightmarish phantom plagues the locale, as the ill-fated Lucy falls under the thrall of a vampire.

Bram Stoker’s immortal novel has been adapted into numerous film and stage adaptations. This version, first presented at the Blue Orange Theatre in 2012 combines all the intricacies and intrigue of the original with a fast and exiting thrill ride.
