Losha
Part of On The Edge – The World Festival of Theatre for Young Audiences
Have you ever wondered where things go when you forget them?
Meet Losha, a magical creature, who likes to collect things, small things, important things, things that have been forgotten. She will share the memories of half remembered stories and bring forgotten dreams to life in a delicate world of light and shadows.
To encounter Losha you must enter her world, a place of contrasts, soft and hard, curved and sharp, up and down, light and dark. She uncovers fragments of memories held in long discarded objects. A candle holds the magic of a birthday party, a teddy bear holds a child’s fear of the dark, a grain of sand carries the freedom of midnight swim.
The show is a feast for the senses filled with poetry and dance, shadow play, puppetry and projection. Losha is a rich and thoughtful play that captures the heart and stirs the memory.

‘Kareen Pennefather’s atmospheric drama reminded us of the simple pleasures derived from a grain of sand, jumping puddles and the fear caused by a stormy night.’ – Entertainment.ie
