What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
The practice originated in India about 5,000 years ago and has been adapted in other countries in a variety of ways.

What does a class involve? Is it suitable for me?
The classes are playful but safe, focusing on alignment, balance and flexibility. We will move with integrity through our yoga postures, taking time to connect with the breath and find what works for you. You’ll work on building strength and get an all over body stretch! Suitable for all levels.
Who teaches the class?
Michela Barberio is a an experienced Yoga teacher who loves all forms of movement. She is Italian, moving to the UK in 2013 and teaching Yoga regularly since.
She would love to explore every corner of the world and discover new cultures, new food experiences and new places.
Michela did her Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with Somatic Yoga Movement School. She offers group yoga classes for all levels with fluid and unique sequencing and a strong emphasis on finding your breath.
When is it?
Our Yoga classes run on Thursday evenings from 6.15-7.15pm in The Studio at The Blue Orange Theatre.
How much does it cost?
Pay As You Go: £7.50
10-Class-Pass: £60.00 (save £1.50 every week by booking a block of 10 sessions in advance)
